Body Recovered from Lake Winnipesaukee

Authorities have recovered a body from the bottom of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Domenic Tringale, 63, of Chelmsford, Mass., was reported missing Saturday.

Marine Patrol said they found his body Wednesday at about noon in about 60 feet of water with the help of sonar equipment.

Tringale was operating a power boat with a dog aboard when witnesses reported the boat was circling near Governor Island Beach in the town of Gilford with only the dog aboard. Marine Patrol found the dog safe.

Authorities said they are investigating how Tringale ended up in the water.
