Ronald Bourdon, 68, of 20 1/2 Linden St., was found guilty of attempted murder and could face up to life in prison. That was the outcome of a week-long trial at Hillsborough County Superior Court, the Nashua Telegraph reports. He was charged with assaulting two teenage brothers from his neighborhood in June of 2011.
Bourdon was also convicted of four counts of first-degree assault, two counts of criminal threatening, one count of simple assault and one count of criminal restraint.
Background: On June 14, 2011 Bourdon was arrested following an incident in which he stabbed two teenaged brothers, Scott Dunlap and Dylan Fitzgerald, in Bourdon's Linden Street home. The boys had been doing some work around the house for Bourdon, who had told them he'd give them laptop computers instead of money.

However at some point Bourdon, who was allegedly intoxicated, accused the boys of stealing his laptops, which resulted in an argument and altercation that resulted in him pulling a steak knife from a butcher block and going after the two boys.
Dunlap suffered a serious stab wound to the stomach, while his brother, Fitzgerald, suffered lacerations to his forearms while trying to help defend his brother, according to testimony.

Originally, Bourdon was charged with two counts of criminal threatening, and was held on $75,000 cash bail. However, the county attorney's office received a grand jury indictment on Aug. 23, adding an attempted murder charge to the existing assault charges against Bourdon.
