So, as the polticians are fighting over the new (FY2014 - FY2015; the fiscal year starts on July 1) NH state budget increase (is it 3%, 10%, 16%?), we are hearing that the budget has to go up due to the "devastating" cuts of the last budget. Have any of the Patch readers experienced this devastation? I have not. Life in NH seems to be about the same in this budget (2012 - 2013) as it was in the past... Firefighters and police still getting the job done... Schools open... DPW's plowing snow and fixing potholes...
This reminds me of the hyperbolic comments about the sequestration....
