Their acts have not instilled fear in most of us, they have inspired acts of selflessness. They have not driven people apart, they have made them come together. They have made most of us stronger and more determined than ever to live free and strong and peacefully.

First responders never thought twice. Regular people became heroes running to help. The hospitals were turning blood donations away because they had more than enough people come forward. Homes were opened for those waiting to collect their injured or lost friends and families. Rides were offered, restaurants fed everyone and without regard to payment.
This is my America, and those who did this will never win - because we're a Nation of Helpers.
