School Safety Meeting Jan. 10 w/ Board of Education, Mayor and Police Chief!

Public Meeting in Nashua on School Safety w the Nashua School Board, the Nashua Mayor, and the Nashua Police Chief, given the latest mass school shooting in Newtown CT

If you have kids, grandchildren, neighbors in the public school system, or are simply a concerned citizen, given the mass shootings going on in the last few years all over the country; there is a Public Meeting on School Safety scheduled Thursday. I am definitely concerned and would like some security until legislation can be passed to regulate guns so that individuals with health issues, anger problems, felonies, etc.. will not be able to purchase guns at gun shows without a back ground check or a safety and gun license:

Public Meeting on School Safety To hear concerns and answer questions
regarding school safety, the Nashua Board of Education is hosting a meeting on
safety in our schools this Thursday, 7 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at NHS North Auditorium.

School safety is a priority. The District continuously reviews, practices,
and improves school safety and security measures to promote a safe and secure
learning and working environment.

To give attendees the most comprehensive and up-to-date information,
several City officials will be joining the Nashua Board of Education and
Superintendent Mark Conrad for the meeting:

Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau
Nashua Police Chief John Seusing
Nashua Emergency Management Director Justin Kates
Nashua School District Plant Operations Assistant Director Christopher Lessard.

Superintendent Conrad and Chief Seusing will give a general overview of
emergency response procedures and security measures in our schools.  Our panel
of officials will answer audience members' questions and will address concerns.
All members of our school communities are welcome to attend.
