Organizing for Action-New Hampshire Volunteers Deliver Petitions to Nashua Offices of Sens. Ayotte and Shaheen to Show that their Constituents are Still Fighting for Expanded Background Checks.

Thursday in Nashua, Organizing for Action – New Hampshire volunteers and community leaders delivered a petition demanding action to reduce gun violence with over 9,900 signatures from New Hampshire constituents. Volunteers gathered at Senator Shaheen’s office displaying signs of thanks for listening to the 81% of New Hampshire residents who support expanding background checks on gun sales. In the wake of Senator Ayotte’s vote last month against expanding background checks, the volunteers delivered the same petition to her office to encourage her to represent the people of New Hampshire -- not the gun lobby -- and make our communities safer. New Hampshire voters are not ready to back down on this crucial issue.
