For 50 years they have been free and fair for all people of color.
For nearly 100 year they have been free and fair for women.

It's a unique record that brought non-violent change in the presidency 42 times. Only once violence was necessary to maintain the union.
Citizens in the old Warsaw Pact, in Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Indonesia and much of Africa and Latin America only recently got these rights. Rulers in China, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Burma, Vietnam, Laos and a range of other countries still maintain power through coercion and are unwilling to submit themselves to the will of the people.
