Nashua Woman Identified as Murder Victim in 1981 Arizona Cold Case

Brenda Gerow, 20, was identified based on a photo kept by a convicted murderer, police said.

Police have announced they solved a 1981 cold case in Arizona.

The victim had gone unidentified until this week, when the Pima County Sheriff’s Department revealed she was Brenda Gerow, 20, of Nashua, according to ABC15 in Arizona. Police said she was sexually assaulted and beaten to death.

The prime suspect in the case is John Kalhauser, 61, who’s in prison for killing his wife.
