Why are you seeking elective office?
Each individual possesses an inalienable right to their own life and liberty. Government only exists to protect these rights but unfortunately it’s been repurposed to systematically violate these rights and deny individuals the freedom to pursue their own ends. I want to fundamentally challenge the assumption that government is justified in coercively taking the property of one individual and giving it to another. To the greatest extent possible, I wish to empower New Hampshire residents to make their own choices for themselves and their families.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The jobs and livelihoods of New Hampshire residents is greatly threatened by a weakening economy and many residents are being forced to search for work out-of-state or even leave New Hampshire. If elected I will fight for reduced taxes and regulations in order to encourage economic growth and job creation.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The other candidates are unwilling or unable to confront the fundamental moral debate over the role of government. All of my views are grounded in the truth that individuals have rights and are personally responsible for their own lives.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
The current officeholders have failed to protect New Hampshire residents from rising prices for everything from food to gas to rent and housing. In contrast, I would fight to eliminate taxes on gasoline and promote policies that would strengthen New Hampshire businesses thus reducing the risk of layoffs.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Government should not have the ability to shut down businesses or force individuals to wear a mask or to take a vaccine. All goods and services besides the protection and enforcement of law and order should be provided by private individuals.
For example, government (public) education should be completely eliminated as should all forms of government healthcare, childcare, and other forms of welfare. The money for these programs should be returned to the individuals who generated it via their own efforts and abilities. Residents who expect or demand the government to 'take care of them' should be publicly shamed and encouraged to leave New Hampshire.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I've been blessed to build a career that's required a broad mix of analytical, managerial, and communication responsibilities. As a former employee, longtime contractor and small business owner, I'm deeply familiar with how the real world works and with the concerns of most residents including job security and career growth.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
You're either spending your time or you're investing your time.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I'm not interested in compromises or being popular with everyone like many politicians. I stand for proven principles and will defend and promote the ideals of liberty on every issue.
