Why are you seeking elective office?

State Representative Nashua Ward 1

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The Global Pandemic. I will propose and support support Bipartisan legislation to provide access:

Access to diagnosis, treatment, and to medical insurance choice
Access to family medical leave to protect families from economic disaster
Access to jobs that offer living wages
Access to high quality public education for our children

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am an experienced State Representative and have a proven recent voting record that shows I listen to the concerns the residents of Nashua, care about them and can deliver legislation to better our lives. That includes securing an additional 9 million dollars to reduce the property tax burden. My opponents party had not initially supported this legislation.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

I believe we must ensure that our air and water are clean. New Hampshire’s environment is vital to our public health, our economy, and the unique identity of our state. I will continue to support legislation to hold businesses accountable for practices that harm our environment such as lowering the PFAS levels.
Promote respect for all New Hampshire residents.
Protect fair voting practices that allow the voice of the people to be heard.
I believe we must strengthen our education system to equip every student with the necessary skills to be innovative, to succeed, and to thrive in their future careers. We must continue to support the children and their teachers in our public schools with the goal of keeping New Hampshire schools the best in the nation.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have co sponsored Bills that led toa lowered PFAS pollution level as a standard. I supported bills that include commuter rail for Nashua, gun safety in schools, eliminating the death penalty, and protecting a woman’s choice on her health issues.

The best advice ever shared with me was …

respect everyone's unique value

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am running for reelection along with two exceptional representatives, Jan Schmidt and William Bordy. Thank you Nashua residents, for giving me the privilege of representing you and I ask for your vote for all three of us in the September Primary and November Election.
