Run/Walk for Nature & Kids Fun Run, Celebrating 35 Years of Creating Community through Conservation

Lowell, MA – Families, runners, and walkers are invited to join Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust (LP&CT) for its first annual Run/Walk for Nature & Kids Fun Run on Saturday, September 28. This family-friendly event features a 5K run/walk, a 10K run, and a one-mile Kids Fun Run.
The scenic course winds through Shedd Park, Rogers Fort Hill Park, the Concord River Greenway, and city streets that showcase the beauty of Lowell’s green spaces.
Throughout the day, enjoy family-friendly activities and exhibits focused on conservation and environmental stewardship. Kids can join the fun run and participate in hands-on activities.
LP&CT stewards more than 50 acres across Lowell, including the Concord River Greenway, Jollene Dubner Park, and Pawtucket Farm & Wildlife Sanctuary. Year-round, LP&CT’s programs bring thousands of residents together at community spaces like Hawk Valley Farm and Spalding House, and engage young conservation stewards through after-school, STEM-based environmental education.
Proceeds from the event support LP&CT’s ongoing work to protect and conserve local wildlife habitats, plant trees in neighborhoods that need them most, and engage the community through educational and outdoor programs.
Celebrate 35 years of creating community through conservation and ensuring access to nature for all. Register today!
