The GFWC Nashaway Woman's Club meets on the first Monday at the Nashua Presbyterian Church, 1010 W Hollis St, Nashua the first Monday of each month except December, October - May. Gather at 11:30 AM for social, lunch and dessert provided. Business meeting 12:15 - 1 PM, speakers, programs or entertainment.
The GFWC Nashaway Woman's Club a 124 year chapter of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international women's voluntary organization. GFWC Nashaway Woman's Club has supported high graduates with scholarships, Corpus Christi Food Pantry, homeless teens and young adults and many more community programs.  
All are welcome.  No requirement to join.

In this hands-on class you will transform a plain white silk scarf (14x72 inches) into a unique wearable piece of art! You’ll learn some fundamental techniques of silk dyeing to create unique patterns from soft water color effects to bold, geometric designs using alcohol inks and walnut dye.No experience is necessary; just bring your creativity, and you will walk away with a one-of-a kind silk scarf! All materials will be provided. Instructor Suzanne Gamache is accomplished in the use of alcohol inks for painting on both paper and silk.
Reservations are required as this learning experience is open to 20 participants from&nbsp;12 years - adult at a cost of $30.00 per person for one scarf.



Tickets may be purchased at the Nashua Historical Society (Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-4pm) or online at nashuahistoricalsociety.org/events. Please note that online and credit card purchases include a $2.00 convenience fee.
