📖 What IS NHSN's Musical Theater & Titans Music Association 's production, "Alice by Heart"? ❤️ 

Set in London in 1941, the story follows teenager Alice Spencer, whose world is upended when she and her best friend Alfred are forced into an Underground shelter during the Blitz. Alfred is quarantined with tuberculosis, but Alice refuses to let that keep them apart. Armed with their shared love for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, she whisks them both into an imagined journey down the rabbit hole.

In this Wonderland, familiar scenes twist in unexpected ways, and the people from the shelter transform into its eccentric inhabitants. As the adventure unfolds, Alice clings to this fantastical escape, even as Alfred begins to urge her to face reality. Their time together becomes a delicate push-and-pull between holding on and letting go.

Battling the Jabberwock, navigating strange trials, and meeting characters both whimsical and haunting, Alice is forced to confront the truth of Alfred’s illness and the grief that awaits her. The journey is a bittersweet blend of humor, surreal encounters, and heart-wrenching emotion—an exploration of love, loss, and resilience in the shadow of war. 

This imaginative, poignant musical invites performers to inhabit bold characters and tell a deeply human story of friendship, courage, and finding hope in the darkest of times.
