Come in out of the cold and enjoy these free Nashua River Watershed Association presentations at the Nashua Senior Activity Center this winter.  These free programs are a fun way to learn more about the natural world around us.

Semi-Aquatic Mammals of the Nashua River and Merrimack River Watersheds

NRWA Education Director Gaynor Bigelbach presents this program which features her original photographs and videos of otters, muskrats, beavers, and mink living within the Nashua/Merrimack River watersheds. Participants will learn about the physical adaptations, behaviors, and diet of these four semi-aquatic mammals and how their presence in and around Nashua is an important indicator of river health.

All the Water in the World Storytime

Wednesday, March 25th @ 10:00 AM

This family-oriented education program features storytime with NRWA’s Gaynor Bigelbach, some water experiments, a craft, and amazing facts and more about all the water in our world. Recommended for children under 8 and their adults. 

These free public programs are funded in part by a grant from the Merrimack Conservation Partnership.
