State Representative office hours

State Representative office hours will be held in the Conference room at the Nashua Public Library from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, 20 May. Your Nashua Ward 1 State Representatives are Heather Raymond, Susan Elberger, and Dale Swanson.

Potential topics for discussion:

• Should the legislature be “prohibiting the prohibition" of guns on college campuses?
• Should towns be denied the right to decide on zoning that might adversely affect potential data centers?
• Should the legislature be passing broad-based regulations making it possible for any parent to essentially veto any books, plays, pamphlets, dances, drawings, pictures, figures, phonographic records, and statues that they don’t like despite having school board approval?
• Should the legislature be prohibiting the use of student IDs for obtaining a a ballot despite the fact that the student my not have a driver’s license and the state is not being proactive in providing an alternative?
