Beginner class: Friday, July 10. Intermediate Class: Friday, July 17. (Register for the second class here: andresinstitute.org/store-2/linocut-print-workshop-intermediate/).
Learn to transfer a drawing onto a block to carve. Print on cardstock 4×6″ or make multiple smaller prints. All tools and supplies are provided. Keep your lino block to print more at home. You can use it on fabric, too!
Workshop fee of $25 includes all supplies. Proceeds support the Andres Institute of Art, a NH non-profit for 28 years.
This workshop will be led by Xena Lopriori, an artist who works with linocut prints and other media. You may have seen the cards she made of two of the AIA sculptures, The Phoenix and She Lifted Her Heart and Floated Away, in the Welcome Center. She is also a Volunteer in the Welcome Center and the Art Gallery at the Andres Institute of Art.
The class is open to participants 12 years of age and older.
