'Click & Clack' Run Out of Gas
Automotive radio 'Car Talk' duo making a last lap on NPR before calling it quits.

You've heard them before while driving along in your car, those two guys with the distinctively Boston accent talking about cars – either because you fancy yourself a bit of a car mechanic hobbyist type yourself, or because you can't quite believe people call in for mechanical car advice.
Either way, the end of the "Car Talk" era is upon us, according to NPR:
Tom and Ray Magliozzi, aka Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers, the comedian mechanics who host NPR's Car Talk, will tell their listeners this afternoon that as of this fall, they'll no longer record new programs. But their weekly call-in series will continue to be distributed by NPR drawing on material from their 25 years of show archives.

"It's brutal!" adds Tom, 74.
