NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested last week, charged with assaulting a 3-year-old child earlier this year.

Corey Jordan, 23, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony.

On May 15, police said they received a report that the child was at a local hospital with "suspicious" injuries that were "consistent with being struck by an open hand." An investigation revealed Jordan attacked the child, police said, adding Jordan is not related to the child.
