NTS provides fixed route bus and demand response transportation services to the Greater Nashua region, and has provided 331,560 rides in 2023. Public transportation is an essential service for the Greater Nashua community, which is why it is important that these services are known and visible to local residents and visitors. A key area of focus for this rebrand is to make the Nashua Transit System branding more recognizable and cohesive for current and future riders.
The new changes to the NTS brand includes a new logo, color scheme, typeface, and mission statement. The new NTS mission statement is as follows:
“To connect people with their destinations in Greater Nashua through safe and reliable public transportation services.”
This statement reflects NTS’ motivation to get people where they need to go and its commitment to providing safe and accessible transportation for all.
NTS’ new logo features blocky and italicized text to increase readability and visual appeal. The most notable change is the addition of a double arrow, a play of the colors of NTS buses and the feeling of motion and moving forward. The new logo is also accompanied by the new color scheme and typeface that, once more, represents the colors of NTS buses and establishes a unified brand identity.
Over the coming weeks, riders will start to see the new logo and branding elements appear on NTS documents, flyers, social media pages, and website.
