According to a report, Merrimack Police met with a loss prevention agent at Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th that alleged that an employee had stolen merchandise from the store.

An officer investigated the incident and looked a security footage, and allegedly saw Carriere “walking out of the store with un-paid merchandise and placing the stolen items in his motor vehicle,” according to a report by Sgt. Gregory Walters. After identifying and confirming that Carriere – the men’s department manager of the store – was the alleged culprit, he was then arrested.
