Corruption spoils trust and destroys the civil society

Hello Readers:

I am doing my best to focus this blog on ideas rather than politics. Consequently, I want to present these thoughts with that in mind.

As a recent migrant to New Hampshire and a new Nashua resident, it concerns me that there may be people out there that are corrupting the political process, which is destroying trust in the civil society. Please take a look at this story that is breaking today, about the possibility that local Nashua people might be complicit in a scheme to allow people that do not live in New Hampshire to vote in New Hampshire. I would like to see unbiased professional investigative journalists try to find out what may be happening. It angers me that something like this could be going on in our city.

Corruption spoils trust in the system that binds us together as citizens. Thus, we need to combat corruption at every turn if we are to survive as a community. Without trust, the civil society perishes and we are on the road to tyranny. If corruption occurred here we need to know about it.
