Couple Charged in Nashua Tire Iron Attack, Robbery

Nashua police said this couple attacked a man with a tire iron then demanded he give up his phone.

NASHUA, NH — A couple were arrested Friday in connection with a tire iron assault in Nashua on Crown Street, police said.

Theresa Rodonis, 41, of Jefferson Street, and James Robinson, 25, of Salem Rd., Billerica, Mass., face assault and robbery charges.

Police said the attack happened Wednesday in the area of 55 Crown St. Rodonis and the male victim reportedly got into an argument—Robinson said struck the man in the head with a tire iron. The couple then demanded the victim's phone, police said.

Rodonis was charged with felony robbery. Robinson was charged with felony assault, felony criminal threatening, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Robinson was held on $25,000 bail; Rodonis was held on $7,500. They were scheduled for arraignments Monday.
