Daughter, Mother Charged with Prostitution

Suspicious behavior investigation on Dexter Street leads to heroin charge, too.

During a police action last week investigating suspicious activity on Dexter Street, Nashua Police arrested residents on various charges, according to a report.

Arieana Manzi of 9th Street in Norwich, CT, her mother, and Amy Manzi, of Dexter Street in Nashua, were arrested on Aug. 18, at around 4 p.m.

Arieana Manzi was charged with prostitution and possession of a narcotic drug while her mother was charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another to prostitution, and outstanding warrants for theft by deception and two electronic bench warrants for nonappearance and court.

According to police, the department’s problem oriented policing unit has been investigating activity at 33 Dexter St. due to complaints from residents. During the course of the investigation, learned the Arieana Manzi was allegedly engaging in prostitution from the address. She was also reportedly in possession of heroin. Amy Manzi, police allege, had “had full knowledge of her daughter’s activities and helped facilitate them by providing her address and cell phone in order to facilitate the prostitution,” according to Lt. David Bailey of the Narcotics Investigation Division.

All three were arrested.

Arieana Manzi was held on $1,000 cash bail. Amy Manzi was held on $5,000 cash bail.
