Derby Party Raises $2,500 for Hunt Fund

On Saturday, May 5, 2012, more than 250 residents from Nashua’s Historic North End  gathered in the Bellavance field for a Kentucky Derby Party to benefit the Hunt Memorial Building.

Families enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment with music provided by “The Goodtime String Band” and gathered around a giant screen provided by SkySkan to watch the Derby live.

The event included lawn games for all ages and a real southern barbeque.  A total of  $2,400 was raised to support the ongoing improvements at the Hunt Memorial Building, located at 6 Main Street.
