Driver Pepper-Sprays Man in Road Rage at Nashua Macy's

Anthony Curtis was charged with assault; police said the victim suffered serious injuries to his eyes.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua driver pepper-sprayed a pedestrian during a road rage incident at Macy’s, police said.

Anthony Curtis, 51, of Allds Street, was charged with second-degree assault.

Police said the attack happened Saturday. Curtis was driving in the Macy’s parking lot when he a pedestrian cross in front of his car. An argument ensued and Curtis pepper-sprayed the man in the face. Police said he suffered serious injuries to his eyes.

Police said they interviewed witnesses and obtained a felony warrant for Curtis’ arrest. He was released on $200 bail.
