DUI Checkpoint in NH July 4th Weekend

Seabrook, NH — A DUI checkpoint will be conducted by State Police in Seabrook this Ju;y 4th weekend.

The exact location and time of the checkpoint was not revealed, per State Police policy.

A Rockingham County Superior Court judge approved the checkpoint, which is paid for with federal funds.

"The sobriety checkpoint is one of the most effective methods of detecting and apprehending the impaired driver," State Police said in a statement. "A review of records has shown that the use of alcohol by individuals who operate motor vehicles has resulted in an alarming number of deaths and personal injury accidents."
