Elderly Woman Involved In Nashua Wrong-Way Driver Turnpike Crash Dies

New Hampshire State Police: Francis Parrott of Merrimack died at a Boston hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash on April 8.

NASHUA, NH — An elderly woman driving the wrong way on the Everett Turnpike earlier this month who caused several crashes has died.

Francis Parrott, 83, of Merrimack was driving north in the southbound lanes of the Everett Turnpike and collided head-on with a pickup truck. Nashua firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove her from her car. Parrott was taken to Southern NH Medical Center first and then Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, with serious injuries.

Parrott, state police said, died on Sunday due to injuries sustained in the crash.

“New Hampshire State Police is investigating all aspects of the crash, which remain under investigation,” Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department, said.
