Elderly Woman Killed In Nashua Car Accident

Nashua Police said a 79-year-old woman was killed Monday when she was hit in a parking lot by a car driven by an 80-year-old man.

NASHUA, NH — A 79-year-old woman pinned beneath a vehicle in a Nashua parking lot was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday after Nashua Police said she was hit in the lot at 575 Amherst Street. Nashua Police said an 80-year-old man was driving the vehicle that hit the woman and that he is cooperating with the investigation.

Police responded to the pedestrian accident at the lot of Bridges by EPOCH short after noon and discovered the elderly woman pinned beneath the car. Nashua Fire Rescue lifted the vehicle off her, but she was found deceased.

Nashua Police said late Monday afternoon that the Nashua Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact the Nashua Police Criminal Investigation Bureau at 603-594-3500.
