Election 2016: Ayotte Works Nashua Burger King Drive-Thru
U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, of Nashua, is running for re-election against Democrat and outgoing governor Maggie Hassan on Nov. 8.
NASHUA, NH — With Election Day just four days away, candidates criss-crossed New Hampshire on Friday and one of Kelly Ayotte's stops included manning a Nashua Burger King drive-thru window.
The Republican senator from Nashua is locked in a too-close-to-call race with Democratic challenger and outgoing New Hampshire governor Maggie Hassan. Latest poll averages show Ayotte with a 2-point lead over Hassan, but that's within the margin of error, according to RealClearPolitics.
Both candidates held a series of campaign events Friday.
