Ellens School of Dance Wins Big at Major Dance Event

Trip to Dance Olympus Dance Championships was an Exciting One

Local dance studio Ellens School of Dance located in Billerica and Tyngsboro, Ma took home a National Grand Champion Award. Their performance of the routine DJ MIX won a cash prize of $1000.00. Over the summer Ellens competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state in one of the largest competitions in the country Dance Olympus Dance Championship. This Junior Competition Team DJ Mix won over hundreds of routines across the country.  The group consists of nine dancers including one boy Wesley Pitchford of Billerica, Vanessa and Gianna Flynn of Tewksbury, Hannah Ossif of Chelmsford, Elise Dohoney of Concord, Meghan Anderson, Kayley Mace, Tea Desmond ,Jody Repucci and  Ava Mazzotta of Billerica with ages ranging between 7 to 11 year old. Ellens School of Dance also competed six other routines which all received Gold Awards. Senior Trio “Fly” was awarded Senior Overall High Score and” DJ Mix “received the Overall High Score Junior Award. Look forward to what is to come from these young dancers. Terrific job!
