5th Annual New Hampshire Yoga for Peace
Nashua NH – Yoga isn’t just yoga anymore! At Nashua’s Yoga for Peace event you will be introduced to yoga for everyone, young or old, experienced or complete
novice! As part of our opening ceremonies this year, we have a special treat. Humorist Ken Sheldon will be here
to show us his popular “Yoga for Yankees.”
In addition to “Yoga for Yankees,” classes will include events for children and teens as well as 30 different and unique classes to choose from!
“Our attendance grows every year, says Jay Gupta of YogaCaps and we are planning to serve 800 people this year. Participants will discover that yoga is for every body and mind.”
The day is presented by NH’s own YogaCaps, Inc.,
a non-profit organization whose mission is to build wellness and community by making yoga more available and affordable. There is no ticket fee as this event
is funded only by donations, with pre-registration at www.yogacaps.org. Your donation benefits two important nonprofit causes: Free yoga classes for those with cancer, through the “Thriving with Yoga” program at New Hampshire’s four major hospitals and scholarships for the
“Peace and Social Justice Program” at Nashua Community College.
