Starting June 13, downtown Nashua will be the star of the show when a new summer initiative launches.
"Downtown Dinner & a Movie," is a collaborative effort to enliven the city's night life options featuring open-air dining while watching a classic movie under the stars.
"Downtown Nashua is already a great place to eat and shop," said Chris Williams, president & CEO of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. "The Downtown Dinner & Movie Series will further enhance that experience by allowing people to enjoy the outdoors while also enjoying great food and top cinema choices right in the heart of our downtown."

Over the course of six different evenings, East Pearl Street will be converted into an outdoor restaurant and cinema, complete with tables/linens and a jumbo movie screen. Show up, enjoy dinner and drinks, and then watch a movie, with table service. Villa Banca and Stella Blu will take turns providing the food and drink service.
The series is not geared toward younger kids, but rather provides an alternative to nightlife for city dwellers ages 18 and older.

Tickets for the movie are $10 and don't include food or drinks.
The Chamber, in partnership with Community Events LLC and Great American Downtown, has worked out the six-week schedule, with additional information and advance ticket sales available at www.nashuamovies.com. It's a big idea that was made possible by the financial support of Granite State College and Citizens Bank.
Participants will arrive and be seated on East Pearl for dinner. Once dusk settles in, the movie will begin, with beverage service continuing through the showing, until approximately 10:45 p.m.
7 p.m.: Seating opens, dinner service available
8:45 pm: Last call for dinner orders
9 p.m.: Film screening begins
10:30 pm: Beverage service closes
