Seeking the Current has special relevance to New Hampshire as the state considers and debates the controversial Northern Pass transmission project, the proposed 180 mile transmission line through New Hampshire that would bring an additional 1,200 megawatts of Hydro-Québec hydropower to the New England electric grid. For more information on the Northern Pass project and additional screening locations, dates, and times, visit http://www.clf.org/northern-pass/
There will be a showing at the Wilton Town Hall Theatre, 40 Main Street, Wilton, NH on Sunday, March 11 at 4:30 pm followed by a discussion with filmmaker Nicolas Boisclair and Conservation Law Foundation Staff Attorney Christophe Courchesne. The film is being shown free of charge, but donations are welcome. The Wilton screening of Seeking the Current is sponsored by NH Green Coalition, Granite State Guardians, and Women Making a Difference.
