'Legally Blonde' This Weekend at Derryfield School

MANCHESTER - Derryfield Repertory Theater Company is tickled pink to present Legally Blonde, the Musical. Having won over audiences across the nation, Elle, Bruiser and friends are appearing in their second weekend of the show at The Derryfield School Performing Arts Auditorium, 2108 River Road, Manchester, August 3 - 5 in this feel good musical comedy about a girl who does not take "no" for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious", Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Based on the hit movie of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde, the Musical is an all singing, all dancing, award-winning Broadway sensation.  During its first year in New York, Legally Blonde, the Musical earned seven Tony Award nominations, 10 Drama Desk Award nominations and an Outer Critics Circle Award. This feel good musical comedy is directed by award-winning professional actress and NH native, Lindsay Devino, who also has TV and national tour credits on her resume and is musically directed by Derryfield Creative Arts Department Chair Laurel Devino, with choreography by Annaleigh Kress.

Legally Blonde, The Musical is a family friendly show appropriate for ages 12 and up.
