Super Coop Fund Raising Committee announces new public fund raising event.

Event: “Super Coop Golf Tournament” to benefit Cooper Doucette, 17, of Nashua, NH

Members of the Super Coop Fund Raising Committee have announced a fund raising event, the Super Coop Golf Tournament, being held June 20^th at the Overlook Golf Club in Hollis, NH. The committee is seeking sponsors, participants and volunteers for the event. This is a charitable 501 C-3 tax deductable event. All proceeds will go to the Super Coop Fund with the Granite State Credit Union.

Background: Cooper Doucette is a 17 year old Nashua High School North student and athlete. In the summer of 2010 he was injured during a routine football practice, and suffered a spinal cord injury that has left him paralyzed from the waist down. Cooper has made strides and continues to improve with regular physical therapy treatments. He receives specialized care at Journey Forward, a rehabilitation center specializing in bettering the lives of those with spinal cord injuries. Fund raising efforts by the Super Coop Fund Raising Committee aim to offset medical costs for Cooper and his family that medical insurance does not cover.
