Fidelity Employees do the "Harvest Hustle" in Support of the YMCA

On October 17, Fidelity Investments in Merrimack hosted its Harvest Hustle 5K and 2-mile walk for their employees and invited YMCA of Greater Nashua staff and volunteers to race for a cause. Over $2500 in donations from nearly 200 race registrants benefited the YMCA of Greater Nashua’s annual support campaign, which allows the Y to stay true to its mission of making Y programs, services and membership available to the entire community, regardless of ability to pay.  “This is a fun and creative way to support an important program with one of our top nonprofit partners in New Hampshire,” said Joe Murray, senior director of public affairs for Fidelity. “We're grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm of our associates whose commitment supports Fidelity’s efforts to invest in our neighbors and their future,” he continued.

Runners and walkers enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon on the grounds of Fidelity Investments. “We appreciate the generosity of Fidelity employees who supported the Y and in the spirit of healthy living enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of exercise. Fidelity’s partnership with the Y is one we cherish,” said Michael LaChance, YMCA CEO.
