Fire Found In Wall Of Nashua Home
Responding firemen said they first found smoke with a small fire near the kitchen outlet.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a call about an electrical problem at a Chestnut Street home Monday night to find a fire in the wall.
Fire officials said that the resident called around 9:30 because they noticed the outlet in their kitchen was arcing, which occurs when electricity jumps from one conductor, like metal, to another. It is one cause of sparks coming out of an outlet.
Responding firemen said they found light smoke in the kitchen with a small fire near the kitchen outlet before shutting off the power in the apartment.
