Neighbors Help Nashua Family Escape Fire
Several Pinehurst Avenue residents helped a Nashua family escape a fire Friday.

NASHUA, NH — Several Pinehurst Avenue residents helped a family escape a fire Friday afternoon during a raging snowstorm.

The fire broke out at 47 Pinehurst Ave. at about 3:45 p.m.

Deputy Fire Chief George Walker said flames and smoke were pouring out of the attic and spread to another room. Two people and a cat were inside at the time and three neighbors helped them escape, Walker said.
