Why are you seeking elective office?
To help the citizens of Nashua to get the policies that make sense for our state.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Housing and housing costs
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I believe in a woman’s right to choose, I believe conversion therapy is evil .
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Nashua has two hydroelectric plants, we have the capacity to sell energy back to the state if only Sununu would stop vetoing the energy bills that get bipartisan support!
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I serve on the Health Human services and Elder affairs committee, I have been instrumental in promoting expanded telehealth services in NH. I continue to vote to expand Medicaid dental services. I have chaired a commission on special needs adults.
I started my life of service in Junior High School by serving on the student council, as I did in High School and Graduate School. I served on the PTO at Sunset Heights school for more than 10 years in which time I was Treasurer and President. I have also served on education and Parish council boards at my Church. Working well with others is one of my strong suits.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Be your authentic self!
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am approachable and would like to hear from more of my constituents. Knocking on doors has been great this year! People have been chatty and concerned. I serve all the people of Ward 6. I’m very concerned about how Elm st Middle school will be redeveloped.
