Graduates, President’s Lists, Dean’s Lists: College Notes
Plus, the Western New England University BlinkTek team was awarded at the Draper Competition for Collegiate Women Entrepreneurs.

BlinkTek Team members Grace Buttrick (entrepreneurship), William Hroch (civil engineering), Nick Pantorno (civil ngineering), and Autumn Kelly (computer ngineering), and Cole Peterson (civil engineering) (not pictured) won a $500 innovation jam award at the Draper Competition for Collegiate Women Entrepreneurs. The team has developed a device called Heat Shield that would be attached to a fire helmet to detect a firefighter's health vitals.
Madeleine Hunt, Class of 2021, from Amherst was named to the dean's list at Bucknell University during the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
David Morin of Milford was awarded a master of science degree in systems engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Robert Long of Concord graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education as Susquehanna University closed its 161st academic year with commencement exercises on May 15. A 2015 graduate of Concord High School, he is the son of Jeff Long and Julie DeVarney.
Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the Spring 2019 semester. Among students earning dean's list honors are:

- Brian Barrows (senior), of Nashua
- Sithya Lach (sophomore), of Nashua
- Sean Moushegian (sophomore), of Nashua
Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
The following local students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester at Clarkson University:
- Trevor Mailhot of Concord, a business intelligence and data analytics major.
- Aaron Rockwood of Concord, a physics major.
Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
The graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences and School of Engineering at Tuft’s University included:
- Brian Barrows of Nashua with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Summa Cum Laude
- Timothy Preston of Nashua with a degree in Economics (BA)
Curry College is proud to announce that the following students have been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester:
- Madison Brooks of Nashua
- Kelly Dellamano of Nashua
- Katherine Tenney of Nashua
To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.
Noah Gosselin of Nashua was one of 18 students from around the world who enrolled in the Doctor of Chiropractic degree program at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, in April 2019.
Sierra J. Dube, a Psychology major from Boscawen was named to the President’s List at Coastal Carolina University for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester.
Kayla Bissonnette, of Amherst has been named to the Becker College Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. Bissonnette is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy/Health Science Concentration. The Dean's List recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.
635 graduates received a degree during Assumption College's 102nd Commencement exercises on May 12, held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA:
- Carolyn DeBeradinis, of Milford
- Julia Mazzeo, of Milford
Colby-Sawyer celebrated its 181st Commencement on May 11, awarding approximately 185 undergraduate degrees and recognizing students and other individuals for academic excellence, outstanding contributions to society, and service to the college and community.
Brendan Barrett of Nashua earned a B.S. in business administration. Barrett was a member of the baseball team.
Meagan McCoy of Nashua earned a B.S. in nursing. McCoy is a graduate of the Wesson Honors Program. She served as a student ambassador for the Office of Admissions, vice president of the Student Government Association, and was a member of the Presidential Blue Key Society and the Student Nurses Association.
Srinath Reddy Anumasu of Nashua graduated with Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Campbellsville University.
