This is a Twelve-spotted Skimmer Dragonfly. Dragonfles' flight skills are incredible, with an ability to fly forward, backward, up and down and I find this to be extremely fascinating. They are native to at least forty eight states. I have a question regarding what appears to be material that has been gathered on the feet of the dragonfly or is it by chance a pod that it is trying to access?
