Gun Fired in Nashua Restaurant: Police

A man fired a gun inside a Nashua restaurant over the weekend, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly firing a gun inside a city restaurant.

Robinson Plasencia-Diaz, 42, of 41.5 Ash St., was charged with reckless conduct, assault, and carrying a gun without a license.

Police said Plasencia-Diaz attacked a man during an altercation inside the Tropical Point Restaurant on West Hollis Street. Plasencia-Diaz pistol-whipped the man over the head, at which point the firearm discharged, police said. No one was hit by the bullet.

Plasencia-Diaz was held on $20,000 bail pending an arraignment.
