Havenstein to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Nashua Oct. 6

The candidate will meet with voters at the American Legion Post on Court Street at 6 p.m.

As part of his commitment to hold town hall meetings across the state, GOP gubernatorial candidate Walt Havenstein will be in Nashua on Monday to meet with voters about his campaign.

The meetings, according to the campaign, are part of “a series giving members of the public, employees at local businesses and New Hampshire veterans the chance to discuss issues with Walt,” according to a press statement. The campaign noted that Democratic candidates Gov. Maggie Hassan, U.S. Jeanne Shaheen, and U.S. Reps. Anne Kuster and Carol Shea-Porter, have not scheduled a town hall meeting during this election period.

“What are Maggie Hassan and her Democrat friends hiding from?,” the candidate said in a statement. “It’s time for them to step forward and explain their failed records to their constituents directly. Not only am I holding town halls during the election campaign, but as governor I have pledged to hold 24 town halls during my first two year term.”
