Man Allegedly Shoots Gun, then Urinates in Public

Police came looking for source of gunfire and found their man, urinating on the sidewalk.

Plasencia Diaz, 39, of 41½ Ash Street, Nashua, was arrested June 1, charged with Reckless Conduct, a Class B Felony, and Indecent Exposure and Lewdness, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On the day of his arrest Nashua Police responded to the area of Ash Street for several reports of what was believed to be gunshots. While canvassing the area, police learned that Plasencia Diaz had a fired a handgun into the air. Plasencia Diaz was located a short time later on Palm Street while exposing himself as he urinated on the sidewalk and was arrested without incident.

Members of the Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division and Criminal Investigation Division furthered this investigation. Through the course of their investigation, it was discovered that Plasencia Diaz had fired at least one shot into the air behind 41 Ash Street.

A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in County Jail, exclusive of fines. A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Plasencia Diaz was released on $5,000 cash or surety bail. Plasencia Diaz will be arraigned at the Ninth Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court at a later date.
