Homeless Man Charged With Burglary
Peter Hartwell was arrested last week in Nashua after allegedly entering a home through a window and stealing money.

NASHUA, NH — A local man was arrested for felony burglary last week, according to police. Peter Hartwell, 42, of no fixed address, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. on March 16, 2018, on a single felony count. At around 4 p.m. on Friday, officers were sent to a Crown Hill area home for a report of a burglary, according to Lt. Craig Allard of the Nashua Police Department.

“A male subject had entered the residence through a window and stole a sum of money from within,” according to Allard. “The Criminal Investigations Division furthered the investigation and developed information that Hartwell had committed the offense.”

Hartwell was arrested, refused bail, and was arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on March 19.
