Horn Endorses Smith for Governor

Jennifer Horn says Kevin Smith is 'the bold new voice' New Hampshire needs in Concord.

NASHUA - Kevin Smith, Republican candidate for governor of New Hampshire, announced that Jennifer Horn, 2008 Republican nominee for Congress, has endorsed his candidacy. In a statement, Smith commended Horn’s leadership in the conservative movement.

“I am both thrilled and honored to have the support of Jennifer Horn. Jennifer has been a tireless advocate, both as a candidate and activist, on behalf of the conservative movement for common sense government reforms. She is a respected leader not only in political circles, but also in her hometown community of Nashua.  I welcome her endorsement and guidance as we continue to build a groundswell of support from activist and community leaders from all areas of the state.”

On her endorsement of Smith, Horn said, "Kevin Smith is the bold new voice that New Hampshire needs. More than any other candidate, Kevin is offering new and specific ideas for creating good-paying jobs and for making New Hampshire a more attractive place in which to do business. He has shown an incredible ability to organize and mobilize support around public policy initiatives, and his experience and background make him the most qualified candidate to be our state’s executive. Kevin has great insight into what government can and cannot do, and more importantly, what government should and should not do. For these reasons and more, I believe that New Hampshire needs to make Kevin Smith its next governor.”
