This magnificent pair of American Bald Eagles spent a couple hours this afternoon in one of our favorite trees! We didn't even have to leave our living room to get the photos. It was only necessary to open the glass door to the deck to get a clear photo. The tree is approximately .2 miles directly east of our deck and it has been a great landing sight for Eagles, Vultures, Ospreys, Red Tail and Broad Winged Hawks as well as for Piieated Woodpeckers. It will be a sad day when this great old tree falls in a windstorm.
