Hudson Arson: Son Lit Mom's Mobile Home On Fire, Police Say

Bryan Huntress, of Hudson, was arrested and held on $25,000 bail, police said.

HUDSON, NH — A Hudson man was arrested Thursday and charged with lighting his mother's mobile home on fire. Bryan Huntress, 29, was charged with arson and held at the Valley Street Jail in Nashua on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment.

Hudson police Lt. Ted Dionne said Thursday at about 9 p.m., officers received a call from a woman on Mobile Drive. She claimed her son, identified as Huntress, "was out of control and may be damaging the home."

Officers arrived at the home and found smoke filling the residence, Dionne said. The officers pulled Huntress out; his mother made it our earlier, according to Dionne. Nearby mobiles homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Huntress was scheduled for an arraignment Friday in Nashua District Court.
