Hudson’s Town Tavern is a Town Gem Not to be Missed!
I don't blog about food, however I was so impressed with the staff and food at this restaurant, it definitely deserves an honorary mention!

So normally I don’t post about food. My primary focus is local musicians and bands because they are all so dear to my heart, however I felt this local gem deserved an honorary mention!
Running around and doing errands and such, I am known for being a “to-go” girl. Half the restaurants in town don’t know me by name but they definitely know my phone number lol.
This afternoon I decided to splurge and go outside my usual chicken finger/pizza box and try something new.

TOWN TAVERN in Hudson was practically across the street so I figured let’s give them a go!
Today’s order .. the BBQ Bacon Burger (sounded delicious), Buffalo Wings, Artichoke & Spinach Dip and Chips.

I arrived for my order and was greeted by not one, not two but three different employees, all cheerful and friendly. Nice impression.
As I waited for them to retrieve my order from the kitchen I noticed a cute lemon with personality sitting on the counter. It was adorable.

While handed my food I was told how I had two bags so that the hot food did not disrupt the cold food, which I thought was nice if them. Headed home, opened my containers and was very happy with what I saw.

First of all the burger was a 1/2 lb. angus burger, cooked to a perfect medium, topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. In a separate container they placed the BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickle so that the so they would stay “chilled” and not wilt from the heat of the burger which i thought was a nice touch.
In another container was the steaming hot French Fries and a container of ketchup. (A must for me).
It was apparent the care that was taken in packaging my meal. Whoever prepped this definitely deserves kudos for a great job!
Just as I hoped, the Buffalo Wings were amazing! Perfectly cooked, and the perfect hot, sweet kick that a buffalo wing should be!
Last but not least, the Art Spin Dip ( the artichoke spinach and cheese dip) was incredible. I know, I know, it’s spinach and artichokes lol but I promise you this is nothing like what our mom’s tried making us eat as kids, so be daring, give it a try.. :) and the homemade tortilla chips? I don’t know how they make these chips but they’re awesome!
Even my kids were impressed that “everything was really good”. So needless to say overall it was a great experience!
From what I understand they do have live music on the weekends which for is a perk so there’s my musical element of the blog.
If you haven’t headed over to the Town Tavern yet, I definitely recommend! Very happy they’re around!
