The Hudson Town Elections are scheduled for March 8th. They will be here before you know it and voting this year is very important for the town. This year we have a chance to stop future massive warehouses from being built within Hudson. While it hasn’t been announced, there have been hints about a last mile facility (think Amazon deliveries to your home with hundreds of Amazon vans) coming to Hudson. Why not where the Golf & Ski is located?
To prevent that from happening, voting YES on Warrant Articles 6, 7, and 8 is a MUST! Don’t let how the planning board voted on these articles fool you. They are catering to the people responsible for the Hudson Logistics Center to oppose our petitions. Keep in mind, this isn’t just for the south end of Hudson. The current zoning allows these buildings to be built anywhere a G or G-1 zone falls within town. And they are everywhere! Look at the zoning map. Please tell your friends and family that live in town to vote YES on 6, 7, and 8!
The Planning Board has two seats open this election. It is time for a change there as well. If you want to support someone who has shown they care about Hudson and will do the necessary due diligence to make decisions, vote for James Crowley. Jim has shown he has the knowledge and common sense to be a great addition to this board. Victor Oates is currently on the board as an alternate, so he does not get to vote on most issues before the board. He has shown he is willing to push developers and was the only board member to ask his fellow board members to leave a warrant up to the citizens to decide on. A voice for the people is needed. If you agree, vote for Victor Oates and James Crowley for the Planning Board.

The Board of Selectmen also has two openings and Kara Roy and Bob Guessferd are running again and deserve to be put back on the board. They both have Hudson’s best interest in mind.
Last but not least, William “Bill” Cole is running for re-election to the budget committee and Bill has shown he’s nothing but a great steward for the town. Let’s get Bill re-elected to that board.
There are plenty of other Warrant Articles and people that deserve your vote too, so please get out and vote in Hudson on March 8th.
